Biography and education
John is a nationally recognized Human Resources expert and best-selling author. His textbook, Human Resources Management: Functions, Applications, Skill Development with Sage Publishing, co-authored with Dr. Robert Lussier, is one of the top ten Human Resource Management texts in the U.S. The fourth edition came out in January 2021. In addition, the third edition of his Fundamentals of Human Resources book will be released in January 2023.
John consults with businesses in the areas of Human Resources, Family Business, and Strategic Analysis and Planning. Over the course of the past twenty-five years, John has provided professional assistance in the start up and operation of dozens of businesses, along with cities, government agencies and public utilities. In addition, he has nearly twenty years’ experience as an operations and logistics manager, business owner, and U.S. Navy Supply Corps Officer.
