Biography and education
Dr. Mojdeh A. Pajouh, Ph.D., P.E., is an Assistant Professor in the Ingram School of Engineering at Texas State University. Her expertise is in geotechnical and transportation safety engineering, with a focus on the experimental and computational evaluation of infrastructure systems under extreme and impact loading. Her research supports the development of national safety standards for roadside and transportation infrastructure.
Dr. Pajouh earned her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering) from Texas A&M University. She received her M.Sc. in Civil Engineering (Structural–Earthquake Engineering) from Tehran Polytechnic (Amirkabir University of Technology), Iran.
