Biography

Dr. Emuze, PhD, is a researcher in lean construction, health, safety, and sustainability. He has published over 350 research outputs, received more than 25 awards and recognitions, and supervised 21 doctoral graduates.

Dr. Emuze is the editor of "Value and Waste in Lean Construction" and "Valuing People in Construction," and co-editor of "Construction Health and Safety in Developing Countries," "Construction Safety, Health, and Well-being in the COVID-19 Era," and the "Handbook of Drivers of Continuous Improvement in Construction Health, Safety, and Well-being." Dr. Emuze co-authored "Training-Within-Industry Job Programs for Improved Construction Safety: Moving the Construction Safety Climate Forward in Developing Countries," "Unpacking the Decent Work Agenda in Construction Operations for Developing Countries," and authored the "Construction Safety Pocketbook for South Africa."

Dr Emuze has diplomas and degrees in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, and Higher Education.
