Biography and education
Dr. Amar holds two Ph.D. degrees : one in Construction Engineering and Management (2017) and another in Industrial/Biomedical Engineering (2015). He also earned two master’s degrees : one in Construction Engineering and Management (2016) and another in Industrial Engineering (2010). He completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (2005).
He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Department of Engineering Technology at Texas State University and contributes to Engineering Management Ph.D. Program. His primary focus at Texas State is teaching graduate-level courses in Risk Management and Resilience Analysis, Industrial Sustainability and Circular Economy, Engineering Data Analytics, Decision Making Under Uncertainty, and Supply Chain Management, and Research Methods.
