Biography and education
Temitope E. Ibiyemi, PhD, RDN, LD, is an Assistant Professor in the Nutrition and Foods Program at Texas State University. He holds a PhD in Nutritional Sciences from Texas Tech University and an MSc in Human Services and Consumer Sciences from Texas Southern University. In addition to his academic training, Dr. Ibiyemi is also a Registered Dietitian and a Licensed Dietitian in Texas. His multidisciplinary background integrates nutrition science, food technology, community nutrition, and public health, with research interests focused on addressing food insecurity and nutrition-related chronic diseases through Food-is-Medicine interventions.
