Biography

Dr. Ruchi Kukde is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Organization, Workforce, and Leadership Studies at Texas State University. With over seven years of teaching experience in courses such as signal processing, machine learning, neural networks, data analytics, decision-making, and human systems in the workplace, she is dedicated to developing students’ analytical and critical-thinking skills.

Dr. Kukde is a mixed-methods researcher with expertise in data analytics, statistical modeling and visualization. Her research focuses on STEM+C education, Career and Technical Education (CTE), decision-making across disciplines, healthcare systems, and adult learning. Dr. Kukde mentors and supports undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students in research design, data analysis, scholarly writing, and professional development.

Her work appears in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings and reflects a commitment to rigorous, data-driven inquiry that informs policy and practice. Dr. Kukde earned a Master of Science in Data Analytics and Information Systems from Texas State University, as well as an M.Tech. and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Sciences from the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, India.
