Biography
Dr. Ruchi Kukde is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Organization, Workforce, and Leadership Studies at Texas State University. With over five years of teaching experience in courses such as signal processing, machine learning, neural networks, problem-solving, decision-making, and human systems in the workplace, she is dedicated to developing students’ analytical and critical thinking skills. Within the Department, she serves as Senior Research Personnel in the ACCEYSS Research Group and supports scholarship on the K–20 STEM education pipeline. Her research and teaching focus on Career and Technical Education (CTE), healthcare analytics, and Prior Learning Assessment (PLA). Dr. Kukde is a mixed-methods scholar with expertise in data analytics and statistical modeling. She examines STEM+C education, interdisciplinary decision-making, healthcare systems, and adult learning. Her work appears in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings and reflects a commitment to rigorous, data-driven inquiry that informs policy and practice. Dr. Kukde earned her Master of Science degree in Data Analytics and Information Systems from Texas State University and her Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Sciences from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar, India.
