Biography and education

Khosrow Ebrahimi, Ph.D., holds BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tehran and K.N.Toosi University of Technology. Before pursuing his Ph.D. in the United States, he led projects developing fuel efficiency standards and energy labeling for light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles. His Ph.D. at Kansas State University focused on computational modeling of pathogen droplet distribution in airliner cabins. Postdoctoral research at Villanova University concentrated on waste heat recovery in data centers. As an active consultant, Dr. Ebrahimi has contributed to projects in fluid system design optimization and thermal modeling. Since 2016, he has served as an engineering educator at Rowan University, Boise State University, Minnesota State University, and currently at Texas State University.
