Biography
I am originally from Virginia. I have a BA in Women's Studies with an emphasis in gender, sexuality, and public health and a BS in Health and PE Teaching. My master's degree in Health Education is from Texas State. Go Bobcats! I earned my Doctorate of Education in Health Professions in 2023.
Research Interests
My research interests are related to perinatal/childbirth education, health disclosures, and school connectedness.
Teaching Interests
I enjoy teaching introductory classes that "welcome" students into the world of public health and prepare them for their future careers. I also enjoy teaching classes related to my favorite areas of study: school health, disease prevention, personal health, and women's health.
