Biography
Sean Patrick Roche, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the School of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Texas State University. His research interests include public opinion on crime and criminal justice issues, policing, and offender decision-making. He also specializes in survey design and implementation, particularly in online contexts.
Dr. Roche received his Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany, SUNY in 2017. In that same year, he joined the faculty at Texas State as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Roche and was tenured and promoted to Associate Professor in 2023. He also currently serves as the Master's Program Coordinator.
