Biography

Spent my childhood in Glen Rose, Texas on my maternal grandparents' ranch, along with my parents and three siblings. Married during the Viet Nam War/Conflict and moved to San Marcos, Texas. Devoted 15 years to working in the mental health and social service professions. Began teaching at Texas State University in 1992.
