Biography
Dr. Ting Xiao is an assistant professor at the Ingram School of Engineering. She obtained a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, University of Utah in 2017. She has led multiple federal-funded projects, and her research interests include subsurface reactive transport simulations, geologic carbon dioxide storage, risk/uncertainty assessment, and underground sources of drinking water quality.

Groundwater hydrology and reactive transport; Geologic carbon storage (GCS); Geological reservoir simulation; Coupled processes in subsurface systems; Subsurface resource recovery and environmental sustainability; Machine learning and artificial intelligence for subsurface applications.
