Biography
Seth Watts is an Assistant Professor in the School of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Texas State University. His research interests include policing, technological innovation, opioids, and public health-public safety collaborations.
He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bowling Green State University in 2019, and his Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy from Arizona State University in Criminology and Criminal Justice in 2021 and 2024, respectively.

Research Interests
Evaluation of cutting edge technological innovations within police departments and collaborative responses to public health issues (e.g., homelessness, substance use, mental health calls for service).
Teaching Interests
Policing; Evidence-based Crime Policy; Research methods courses with a focus on experimental and quasi-experimental designs.
