Biography and education
An award-winning writer, director, and producer featured on CBS, KVUE, Austin Chronicle, and many other news outlets. Aladin is known for his award-winning directorial feature film Evinced, distributed by Gravitas Ventures and released on February 15th, 2022. Aladin produced, directed, cast, co-wrote, and co-edited this feature film at the age of 23. Comic Book Resources stated that Evinced is a "detective thriller delivered with refreshing earnestness if not a big budget." Upon its release, Evinced finished #3 in Thriller, #3 in Action Adventure, and #4 in New/Noteworthy on the trending list on iTunes. Aladin has also produced and directed award-winning short films Ms. Anita and The Masked 4, both sold to ShortsTV. The Masked 4 was selected to be screened on ShortsTV's editorial pick showcase. Aladin is a full-time lecturer at Texas State University, where he teaches film. He is also the associate producer for the film Hierarchy, which had a limited theatrical release and, on October 19th, 2025, was ranked #1 on the STARZ network
