Biography

Eun Jeong Lee is a faculty member in the Electronic Media program at Texas State University, with a wealth of experience as a TV producer, multimedia producer, and visual journalist. Her work has been featured in globally renowned outlets such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, National Geographic, USA Today, and leading publications in Germany and South Korea.

She has extensive experience in TV production, including her work with NBC’s TODAY show during the 2018 PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games to produce live-streaming content that captured the global event. She also served as executive producer for public affairs television programs on KFVS-TV, KRCU Public Radio, and KBSI Fox 23, focusing on news events, community issues, and local stories in Missouri.

Her teaching philosophy prioritizes hands-on learning, equipping students with practical skills, adaptability, and innovative problem-solving to prepare students for the fast-paced media industry. Prior to joining Texas State University, she taught at universities in Pennsylvania and Missouri, where she also advised student-run media organizations.

She holds two master’s degrees: an M.A. in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. in Mass Communication from Texas State University.
