Biography Section

Biography and Education

Ms. Elektra Jordan completed a Master of Arts in Applied Philosophy and Ethics as well as a Graduate Certificate in Professional Ethics in December 2024 at Texas State University. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy (summa cum laude) in May 2023 from Texas State University. During her time as a Texas State student, Ms. Jordan was a member of the Honors College, managing editor of the Texas State Undergraduate Research Journal, served in the Texas State Student Government Graduate House of Representatives and the Supreme Court, and led as President of the Texas State Delta chapter of Phi Sigma Tau international philosophy honor society.

Research Interests

Applied philosophy, ancient philosophy (especially the pre-Socratics, Stoicism, and Epicureanism), Existentialism, political philosophy (especially social contract theory), American Pragmatism, and the history of Western philosophy.
