Biography and Education

I am an assistant professor of instruction in the department of Philosophy with my formal training in Comparative Literature. My interests include philosophy of cartography, political theory, literary theory, and Latin American philosophy and history.

My emerging interests center on questions of city organization and the means by which we navigate and perceive the spatial world around us.

I completed my PhD at the State University of New York under the mentorship of David Johnson and Shaun Irlam where I also taught a range of courses. I also spent some years teaching Human Geography at the community college level.
