Biography and education
Ariel Kay teaches Art Education in the School of Art and Design and specializes in educator preparation. She taught elementary art for eight years in Title 1 public schools. Kay teaches professional development for teachers and facilitates community art workshops for individuals of all ages.
She received her B.S. in Anthropology from Bryn Mawr College with a Minor in Education and a M.A. in Art Education from the University of Texas at Austin.
