Biography and Education

 Gab Alderete-Cruz is the Digital Initiatives Librarian at Texas State University. She graduated with a master's in Information Studies and Women's and Gender Studies. Currently, she is focusing on reparative and inclusive description for Digital Collections, but loves all things special collections and metadata.

 Digital collections, metadata, and archival preservation

Research Interests

 Reparative and inclusive description, decolonial methodologies, learning all things metadata, accessibility and inclusiveness in libraries and archives
