Biography and Education
Taylor is the First Year Experience (FYE) Librarian for Texas State University Libraries. Taylor is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She received her Bachelor of General Studies from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette before obtaining her Master of Library & Information Science from Louisiana State University. Taylor is a certified teacher as well as a certified school librarian. She taught in K-12 schools and was a school librarian for five years before beginning her career in academic librarianship. Taylor's goal is to help first - year and transfer students become acclimated to Texas State University by making them aware of the resources and materials available to them through the Alkek library.Teaching Interests
