Biography
Dr. Kathy Randolph, BCBA-D, is an assistant professor at Texas State University, and a board certified behavior analyst at the doctoral level. She earned her doctorate in Exceptional Student Education from Florida Atlantic University in 2017. She earned a master’s degree in special education from Duquesne University, a post-graduate certificate in Educational Leadership from Point Park University and a post-graduate certificate in Special Education Administration from Edinboro University, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Biology from Point Park University. She previously spent 5 years as the Verified Sequence Coordinator in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, where she created and taught ABA coursework.
Research Interests
Dr. Randolph’s research interests focus on supporting teacher implementation of evidence-based practices using iCoaching, where teachers receive a packaged intervention to learn and implement evidence-based practices in classroom management to ensure inclusion of students with challenging behavior.
Teaching Interests
Dr. Randolph teaches in the Learning & Behavioral Disabilities Accelerated Online Program and the Applied Behavior Analysis Concentration in the Special Education Program at Texas State.
