Biography Section

Biography and Education

Experienced organizational/management academic who has taught courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels (MHA, MPH and doctoral programs). Dr. Pradhan received his Ph.D. in health services research from the University of Florida in 2010.

Teaching Interests

The classes Dr. Pradhan has taught include courses on health care management, healthcare policy, quality, health Information management, and advanced doctoral seminars on organizational theory and organizational behavior & leadership.

Research Interests

Dr. Pradhan is a health services researcher interested in understanding the influence of organizational determinants on health care delivery particularly as it relates to quality of care and equitable access. His work has primarily focused on long-term care through application of organizational and strategic management theories to improve the performance of this critical area of US healthcare system. Dr. Pradhan has also made substantial contributions to the area of racial/ethnic disparities research.
