Dr. Gloria Youngju Park

Biography

Dr. Park earned PhD in Nursing Science from University of Washington, Seattle, WA in 2013, MSN from Yale University, New Haven, CT in 2004, BSN from Husson University, Bangor, ME in 2002, and ADN from Red Cross of College of Nursing, Seoul, Korea. Dr. Park is currently appointed as an assistant professor in St. David's School of Nursing at Texas State University.

Research Interests

Dr. Park's research interests include parenting and adolescents’ psychosocial well-being, global health nursing, and nursing education. She would like to continue to provide parenting programs to Asian immigrant parents and expand to Hispanic communities to improve parent-child relationship and promote psychosocial and emotional well-being of children.

Teaching Interests

Family nurse practitioner courses including advanced pathophysiology, health assessment, primary care, and clinical practicums.
