Biography
Vivien L. Geneser, PhD, is an experienced educator, author, editor, and researcher who advocates for a playful approach to education. She currently teaches Play in Educational Settings for Diverse Learners at Texas State University. She has published numerous articles, book chapters, and columns as well as three books on play: Play in Educational Settings: Implementing Playful Lessons (w/Day-Mifflin) (Sentia), Promoting Teaching and Learning Through Play (Kendall-Hunt), and Scholarly Snapshots: Affirming the Importance of the Child’s Right to Play (Rowman).
