Biography and Education
Felipe Gutierrez is an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at Texas State University. Felipe graduated in 2016 with a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin focusing on wastewater biological treatment and phosphorus recovery. After graduation, Felipe worked for CH2M(Jacobs) and CP&Y (STV) evaluating potable water quality, designing water and wastewater systems, designing municipal solids treatment and management systems, and modeling biological processes and distribution systems. His current research, teaching and professional interests focuses on sludge/biosolids treatment and management, water distribution and flooding.Teaching Interests
