Biography and Education

Jacob A. Waddingham is an Assistant Professor of Management in the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University. He earned his MBA from Iowa State University and his Ph.D. in Management from Auburn University.

Jacob has published in top management journals including the Journal of Management, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Business Venturing, and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice. His research has also been featured in popular press outlets such as The Conversation (US), Fortune, and Yahoo! News.

Prior to joining academia, Dr. Waddingham worked as an associate editor of a daily newspaper in Creston, Iowa. He primarily covered breaking news, local politics, agriculture, and sports.
