Biography Section

Biography and Education

Cecilia McMahon was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. She Graduated from Centro de Estudios Universitarios in Monterrey Mexico with a degree in Education. She earned a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA with a major in Visual Arts and attended Lorenzo de Medici Institute in Florence, Italy where she studied Florentine Art in Situ and Studio Art. Cecilia graduated from Texas State University with a MA in Spanish. Her first teaching position was in Mexico's School system (SEP). In the Untited States she worked at Thomas Nelson Community College as a Spanish instructor. As a Spanish Translator, Cecilia worked for Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Marriott Hotels International and The University of Texas at Austin.
