Teaching Interests

My primary goal as a Management and Human Resources professor is to help students develop a strong understanding of human capital, organizational behavior, and HR strategy, while also building the analytical, critical-thinking, and collaborative skills required for success in today’s evolving, AI-enabled workplace. I strive to create an inclusive, student-centered learning environment where students are encouraged to actively connect theory to real-world organizational challenges.
To support these goals, I design courses that intentionally balance foundational concepts with applied learning. Informed by student feedback, I have expanded the use of interactive breakout sessions that incorporate real-world case discussions, role plays, and scenario-based simulations. These experiences promote active engagement, peer learning, and practical problem-solving. Additionally, I integrate group-based projects that require students to analyze contemporary HR and workforce issues—including the responsible use of artificial intelligence—and propose data-informed, actionable solutions. Through this approach, students strengthen their analytical capabilities, teamwork skills, and readiness to contribute effectively in modern organizations.
