Biography

Maurizio Turri is an Assistant Professor of Instruction of Management in the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University. He earned a BSBA in Information Systems from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from Texas State University, where he is currently a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) candidate.

In 2016, Turri founded Vox Elements, LLC, a technology services firm specializing in supply chain optimization. Following a decade of growth and his recognition as a 2026 RETHINK Retail Top Retail Expert, he successfully completed the sale of Vox Elements in early 2026. Today, he integrates his executive experience into his teaching at McCoy College and provides strategic guidance through his consulting firm.

Research Interests

Turri’s research explores the strategic integration of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and IoT technologies to enhance supply chain transparency and operational resilience. His work specifically investigates the use of digital signals for product authentication and brand protection within complex global distribution networks.
