Biography
Dr. David J. Schlosz, PhD, LPC-S, NCC is a counselor-educator, clinician, and author known for translating clinical science into practical, high-impact tools for therapists, students, and helping professionals. As a Licensed Professional Counselor–Supervisor and National Certified Counselor, he brings an integrative, evidence-informed approach to topics such as shame, relational healing, therapeutic presence, and the mind–body dynamics of stress and resilience.
Dr. Schlosz teaches and mentors graduate counseling students and emerging clinicians, with extensive experience in training and supervision focused on clinical skill development, professional identity formation, ethics, and culturally responsive care. His work is grounded in relational and experiential approaches and is shaped by ongoing study and application of contemporary mind–body research to strengthen therapeutic outcomes and clinician well-being.
He is the founder of Therapy with David, a counseling practice dedicated to “Awakening, inspiring, and restoring wholeness, freedom, and potential in the lives of men and women all over the world.” Through teaching, speaking, and multimedia education—including his podcast and professional trainings—Dr. Schlosz equips audiences with actionable frameworks, compelling stories, and clinically sound strategies that foster growth, connection, and lasting change.
