Research Interests
Since I started working at Texas State, as part of my research and scholarly activities, I collaborated with colleagues within and outside of my department and university, and as a co-author, have papers published in the American Society for Engineering Education Conference in topics related to occupational safety, student learning outcomes, and assessment.
Teaching Interests
Before joining Texas State, I had the privilege of teaching at Louisiana State University (Department of Industrial Engineering) and The University of Texas at San Antonio (Department of Construction Science). Since 2002, I have taught a variety of courses in different construction, engineering, and safety related topics. Most of these courses required new material and content development. The topics included computer applications, project management, estimating, planning, scheduling, safety, building technologies, structural analysis, strength of materials, human factors, and ergonomics.
