Biography and education
Colin is the Assistant Professor of Technical Production and Head of the BFA Technical Production Concentration at Texas State University where he serves as the department Technical Director. Originally from Indianapolis, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Recording Arts from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music as well as a Masters of Fine Arts in Technical Production from Florida State University. Before coming to Texas State, Colin served as the Technical Director at Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre. Additionally, he has held the positions of Technical Director at Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Technical Director at Creede Repertory Theatre and the Assistant Production Manager at Butler University.
