Biography Section

Biography and Education

Dr. Anahita Emami joined Texas State University as an Assistant Professor in the fall of 2020. She received her Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from Virginia Tech in 2018. She holds a master's and a bachelor's degree, both in Mechanical Engineering, from the Purdue School of Engineering and the University of Tehran, respectively. Prior to her full-time faculty appointment at Texas State University, Dr. Emami worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Texas at Austin.
