Biography
Sara Boysen, MHIM, is a lecturer in the Department of Health Informatics and Information Management (HIIM) and has taught Medical Terminology since Spring 2019. Sara earned the MHIM at Texas State in May 2018 and was the first student to complete a master's thesis in the program. Sara also earned a BA in History in May 2002 from Texas State University.
In addition to teaching for the Department of HIIM, Sara teaches for the Health Sciences program and has served as the Director of the College of Health Professions Advising Center since 2002. In that role, she enjoys supporting students in their academic pursuits from the time they enter Texas State through graduation.
