Biography
Vic Rodriguez Tang is an Assistant Professor of Communication Design at Texas State University. Their work centers analog and hybrid print technologies as pedagogical and research infrastructures within graphic design education, with a focus on inclusive design pedagogy, independent publishing, and risograph-based experimentation. Their research examines how books, exhibitions, and workshop-based production can function as public scholarship and community-engaged design practice.

Rodriguez Tang’s work has been presented at national and international conferences and exhibitions, and their research on gender biases in graphic design informs both curriculum development and teaching practice. At Texas State, they teach undergraduate and graduate studios and support student-led creative and design initiatives.
