Biography

What's up, Fam?!

I am an Adjunct Professor for the Department of Communication Studies here at Texas State University. I earned my B.A. and M.A. degrees here at Texas State. I have a strong passion for educating others on the value of effective communication skills. A philosophy that I adopted from one of my own communication professors is that "Communication is the solution to almost every problem." When I engage with my students I try to drive this point home by emphasizing the importance of communicating with me when a problem arises with an assignment or something regarding their personal lives that interfere with their academic success. If we communicate and work together, then we can figure out a solution that works for both of us. In addition to teaching here at Texas State, I have worked at Austin Community College, Arizona State University, and The University of Texas at Dallas to continue pursuing my passion for teaching communication.
