Biography
Leslie Green is an Assistant Professor of Consumer Affairs in the School of Family and Consumer Sciences at Texas State University. She received her Ph.D. in Housing and Consumer Economics at the University of Georgia. Dr. Green also holds a M.S. degree in Consumer Sciences and a B.S. degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with an emphasis in Family Finance from Utah State University. She is an Accredited Financial Counselor® through the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education. She has served on the board of directors for both the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education and the Housing Education and Research Association. Dr. Green teaches Introduction to Research Methods for Family and Consumer Sciences and Personal and Family Financial Counseling. Her research interests involve the economic well-being of families and individuals.
