Biography
Alex M. Kroeger is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at Texas State University. He teaches courses on comparative politics and international relations. Dr. Kroeger's research focuses on elite politics in authoritarian regimes and democratization, with a regional focus on Africa. He received his B.S. in World Politics from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Nebraska. Prior to joining the faculty at Texas State, Dr. Kroeger spent two years teaching at the University of California, Merced.
