Biography and expertise
Lyndi Wittekiend has served Texas State University since July 2008 in several key roles, including Faculty Employment Manager, before being appointed Director of Faculty and Academic Resources in the Office of the Provost & EVPAA. Her team that manages more than 2,700 faculty appointments and contracts annually and oversees critical faculty processes, including tenure, promotion, reappointment, development leave, evaluations, and awards. In addition, she provides institutional guidance on faculty policies, compliance, and academic personnel practices. Her work is centered on advancing FAR’s strategic priorities by enhancing onboarding, optimizing processes, and strengthening faculty lifecycle services, helping support faculty success while enabling institutional growth and administrative efficiency.
