Biography and Education
Abby Train received a doctorate in economic development, with a minor in statistics from New Mexico State University, a master's degree in mathematics from the University of Houston, and an undergraduate degree in data processing and analysis from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to arriving at Texas State, she spent twelve years teaching combined with leadership responsibilities at New Mexico State, before which she spent many years in software development and management at a variety of large organization, and continues to lead many large-scale independent projects in regional economic development, small business management and software development.
