Biography and education
Dr. Konur is a faculty member in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics of McCoy College of Business since September 2018. He holds PhD and MS degrees in Industrial and Systems Engineering from University of Florida (Gainesvile, FL) and BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University (Ankara, Turkey).
Right before joining Texas State University, he was awarded tenure and promoted to Associate Professor in the Engineering Management and Systems Engineering Department of the Missouri University Science and Technology, where he worked during August 2012-August 2018. Before Missouri University of Science and Technology, he worked as a post-doc researcher at the Intermodal Freight Transportation Institute at the University of Memphis for a year (July 2011-July 2012).
Right before joining Texas State University, he was awarded tenure and promoted to Associate Professor in the Engineering Management and Systems Engineering Department of the Missouri University Science and Technology, where he worked during August 2012-August 2018.
