Amy A. Weimer, PhD., Professor of Human Development and Family Sciences and Director of the School of Family & Consumer Sciences at Texas State University, specializes in investigating social, family, and cultural factors that affect social cognitive and academic development. She is passionate about coordinating teams of undergraduate/graduate student researchers focused on understanding the many variables and processes that promote successful outcomes in children and families in the community.
