Biography and education
Dr. Jacobson is currently the Associate Director of CAS with over 32 years of experience and progressive responsibility in Cultural Resources Management and Environmental Compliance. She previously worked at TRC Environmental, St. Edwards University, and Ramsey House Historic Home and Museum. She has conducted archaeological surveys, testing, and mitigation, detailed artifact analyses, historic resources viewshed surveys, cemetery monitoring and cemetery removal projects in compliance with the Texas Health and Safety Code, and coordinating with Native American tribes in compliance with Section 106 (36 CFR 800.4) of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA). She has over 29 years experience as a faunal analyst. Her experience for all areas of cultural resources work has spanned 28 States including the Southwestern United States, Northern, Central, and Southern Plains, Texas, Midwestern, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeastern United States and Maine.
