Biography and Education
Dr. Christopher Harvey is a Lecturer in the Department of Occupational, Workforce, and Leadership Studies at Texas State University since 2016. He teaches the undergraduate and graduate courses.Dr. Harvey has 19 years of public education and 9 years of higher education experience. He is currently the Chief Academic Support Officer in Manor Independent School District. His goal is to improve student readiness for college, career, and/or military through strategic partnerships with colleges/universities, community organizations, and businesses.
Dr. Harvey obtained a Bachelors of Social Work at Texas State University, a Master's of Education Administration from Concordia University at Austin, and he earned his Ed.D. in Leadership in Education Administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
He is also currently the Mayor of the City of Manor.
