Biography and Education
Tanisha Finister is a Lecturer in the Department of Communication Studies at Texas State University. She currently teaches multiple sections of Fundamentals of Human Communication at Texas State University where she has been teaching this course in some capacity since August, 2012. Tanisha Finister earned a MA in Communication Studies at Texas State University and a BA in Communication Studies at Central Michigan University. She is currently pursuing a MSA with a concentration in Leadership from Central Michigan University.
Teaching Interests
Tanisha Finister's main teaching interest is the link between theoretical knowledge and praxis. While she finds it important to teach and understand communication theories, she finds it equally important for students to be able to identify and practice these theories in everyday life.
