Faculty Profiles

After nearly 20 years of experience leading teachers and learners in classrooms and computer labs, Becca Hemenway joined the faculty at Texas State full-time in fall 2017. Previously she taught in public and private schools in Austin, students ranging from three-year-olds through fifth graders, with most of her classroom experience in early childhood. In addition to teaching in the classroom, Becca has served as curriculum director, mentor, trainer, and lead teacher. Becca has also worked in the private sector for company that provides online supplemental educational services to schools and organizations in the US and abroad.
