Biography and education
Mark Evans is an assistant professor of instruction in the management department and core curriculum coordinator for business communications, as well as a public relations consultant, specializing in public relations, crisis communication, and strategic communications. He is a 35-year veteran of the public relations/strategic communications industry and advises clients on a wide variety of topics, including messaging, issues management, marketing/communications program development and digital/social media strategy. He previously taught media writing at Texas A&M University. He also currently serves as academic program director for the McCoy in Barcelona and Commerce and Culture in Southeast Asia study abroad programs.
