Biography and education
Holly Veselka is a research-based new media artist working with AI, photogrammetry, game engines, experimental video, and immersive installation. Her work examines how emerging technologies shape, distort, and limit human understanding of ecological systems and the more-than-human world. Recent exhibitions and screenings include CURRENTS New Media, Santa Fe; Video Art Miden, Kalamata, Greece; Torrance Art Museum; FotoFest, Houston; Shetland Arts, Lerwick, UK; AURORA Video Art Night; Experimental Response Cinema, Austin; and the Video Art & Experimental Film Festival, New York. Her current research includes participation in the international environmental humanities seminar Beyond Governance: Terraformings and Other Arts of Cohabiting and Care.
