Research Interests
My field of interest is metatextuality, that is, the tension between art and life, art and artifice, and the use of masks and masquerade in modern works. My major focus lies in the French decadent period, those works following D’Annunzio’s time in Italian Literature as well as various Irish writers of the turn of the century such as Bernard Shaw, Oscar Wilde, and Yeats. Francophone Literatures and Post-Colonial works.
Teaching Interests
My greatest joy is to teach Foreign languages & their cultures while in a fun and facilitated environment, while maintaining the quality of the immersion courses taught!
