Biography and Education

Born in California. Lived my life in California, Oklahoma, Texas. BA and MA from Sam Houston State University (1978, 1980); PhD from Oklahoma State University (1986); taught at Lamar University 1984-87; Lecturer Southwest Texas State University, 1987-1989; Assistant Professor, SWTSU, 1989-1995; Associate Professor, SWTSU/Texas State University, 1995-2008; Professor of English 2008-present.

Gary Snyder; Japanese poetic forms; American poetry; Pastoral poetry
