Biography

Dr. Brooks is a retired Army Medical Service Corps officer where he was a hospital administrator in the Federal Health Sector for over 21 years, culminating in serving as the Deputy Commander for Administration for the 14th Combat Support Hospital in Iraq 2009. He was the Deputy Program Director and Associate Professor at the 11th ranked Army-Baylor MHA/MBA dual-degree program for five years. He is currently is the Assistant Provost and Professor in Health Administration. He holds dual board certifications in healthcare administration and public health. He has published over 30 peer-reviewd articles in several healthcare journals and presents frequently at national conferences. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Geen Belt and Healthcare Financial Professional.
